Reverend Kevin L. Leake is a native of Chatham County.  He is the son of Reverend Larry W. and Mrs. Brenda Leake.  His father was the former pastor of First Missionary Baptist Church of Siler City, NC and is the current pastor of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church of Monroe, NC.  Reverend Leake received his BA degree from Elon College in 1999.   He furthered his education by receiving a Masters of Education degree in Educational Leadership from High Point College in 2011.  He is currently the Principal of Thomasville Middle School in Thomasville, NC.

In September of 2018, under the leadership of Pastor Mike Ferguson and Dr. Anthony Higgs, Reverend Leake accepted the call into ministry.  He preached his initial sermon at Cornerstone Community Church in Lexington, NC entitled "Love Lifted Me" (Ephesians 2: 1-10) in February of 2019.  He was ordained as a minister in February of 2020.  Reverend Leake was installed as Lambert Chapel Missionary Baptist Church's 14th Pastor on January 2, 2022.

In addition to his humility, Reverend Leake has amazing zeal and is a trailblazer in every sense of the word.  His believes that it is our duty as followers of Christ is to obey the commands that Jesus gave in the Great Commission...
